Work continues to make our T6G airworthy. Late last week a zero houred engine rebuilt by Covingtons in America arrived. It has now been checked for transit damage with none found.
The Magnetos, ignition harness, carburettor , fuel pump, starter, CSU, baffles and oil filter will also be replaced with new or overhaulled items.
During the next week the oil tank will be removed to check for metal debris and the whole lubrication system will be purged.
The engine will then be installed and it is hoped that first engine runs will be accomplished during the first week in April with a test flight shortly afterwards.
