"Absolutely Brilliant Experience."

FLY IN A SPITFIRE

To fly in a Spitfire is the ultimate bucket list experience, so why compromise? Book an Aero Legends Spitfire Flight Experience

We operate two Two-Seat Spitfires and both have been converted to the Vickers Supermarine dual control, two-seat design. This gives you the full Spitfire experience with excellent visibility over the famous elliptical wing throughout your Spitfire Flight.

We are proud to have probably some of the most experienced pilots on these Marques flying for us. Many of which have long and successful careers with the RAF including the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows.

The airfields from which we operate are carefully selected based on the iconic landmarks you can overfly, the local flight height restrictions and the impact of commercial air traffic. Headcorn and Sywell Aerodrome benefit from no commercial traffic therefore no lengthy wait for a departure slot. The lenient local flight height restrictions mean your flight has the option of being fully aerobatic.

The facilities at Headcorn Aerodrome and Sywell Aerodrome are perfect for friends and family. There are ample viewing areas overlooking the operations area and runway meaning your guests can be truly involved in the Spitfire Flight experience.

This is a very rare and unique experience, made more amazing when you’re flying in an actual Spitfire used during WWII combat in the Battle for Normandy. During your flight you will experience the sights, sounds and smells of the cockpit and communicate with your pilot, viewing the skills and techniques it takes to fly such an historic aircraft.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

Your flight in a Spitfire will be filmed throughout and will be available to purchase after your flight. Cockpit video footage is taken for each flight. The video is produced from a forward facing camera, a cockpit facing camera and the audio from the pilot and passenger intercom. Spectators and family members are welcomed to take photos and videos from the ample viewing areas assigned at each aerodrome.
